A poem at Nutshells and Nuggets

CandleI’m just back from a week in Spain and I’ll blog about my travels soon. While I was away my poem ‘Candle’ was published in Nutshells and Nuggets and can be read here.

Submission guidelines to Nutshells and Nuggets are here. This is a beautifully simple site  for small poems (nine lines maximum) edited by Kevin Reid. I wrote ‘Candle’ in a workshop run by Robert vas Dias called ‘The Poetics of Things’ (more about this workshop in my post here) and I modelled it on ‘Mirror’ by Sylvia Plath.

Delighted that my workshop poem has found a home.
