Enter the National Poetry Library’s Instapoetry Competition

There’s still time to send in a poem or poem film to the National Poetry Library’s Instagram Poetry Competition.  Deadline is Wednesday, 21 March.

The National Poetry Library is asking poets and Instagrammers alike to share their work on Instagram, by tagging the library @nationalpoetrylibrary and using the hashtag #instapoetrylib. We are also looking for short poetry films which should be submitted using the same hashtag.

The best of these will be displayed in an exhibition at the National Poetry Library. From striking typographic design, to social comments and emotional confessions, this exhibition provides the perfect introduction to this emergent form of poetry.

The competition is free to enter and open to everyone from anywhere in the world.  Here is my entry:

You can view it on Instagram here  where I’ve given it a black and white filter. Look for the #instapoetrylib hashtag on instagram to view the other poems.
