Here is a lovely blog by Jayne Stanton about my launch on Saturday and about Nine Arches Press’ 10th Birthday Party. A huge thank you to everyone who came to hear me read and helped to celebrate ten years of a wonderful independent press. A reminder that there is free postage on all books at Nine Arches until the end of June.

My next reading from the book is at Ledbury Poetry Festival on Friday, 6th July 8pm – 9pm, when I’ll be reading with Raymond Antrobus and Peter Raynard. Tickets are available here.

I’ve just finished reading it straight through, second time round. I love your use of language and fresh imagery. Kept seeing you in Southport context. It’s a great collection.

I’ve been dipping into this book for the past few days. I love the humour, and the clarity of it; romantic, maybe even nostalgic in some ways, but realistic and wise too. Seriously good–I’m going to be carrying it around for a while.
