Congrats. Strong poem, too.

Thanks, Jeff. 🙂 It needs more work as a poem but the sentiment’s there.

Some poems are simply best as they are. Not every good poem can be made into a great poem. Some good poems are more durable as poems than great poems. It’s a strange phenomenon, how any given poem may move the needle of a kind of spectrum of affect for the reader (and I do mean affect, not effect) where that measurement is some hard to define combination of technical, visual, and content construction. Everything happens in time, and some times a good poem is better than a better poem.

Thanks, Jeff, and likers. Writing, and the self-exposure that comes with it, is frightening. I’m glad for your support.
