Live Canon Poetry Prize Book Launch and Readings

I’m pleased to say that my poem ‘A Baby Speaks on his Birthday in an Autumn Garden, 2020’ has reached the shortlist in this year’s Live Canon Poetry Prize and will be performed at the anthology book launch and prize ceremony, along with all shortlisted poems, online on Tuesday, 19 October, 20:00 – 21:30 BST. There are some wonderful poets on the shortlist and I’m honoured to be in such good company. It promises to be a good evening, so I hope you’ll be able to tune in. Congratulations to all shortlisted and longlisted poets published in the anthology and thank you to Live Canon.

Tickets to the book launch, readings and prize giving are free and available here.

The anthology costs £10 and is available to buy direct from Live Canon. There is a fifty per cent discount if you’re buying a copy for a secondary school library – the link for schools, or to donate to a school, is here.
